About the Owner, J. Chin Aleong:
He first joined the Trinidad Philatelic Society in 1952 and shortly after started dealing part time in stamps and covers. Since 1964 he has been a life member and has served as President, Secretary and editor of its Bulletin. Also, since 1964 he has been a member of the B.W.I. Study Circle.
From 1980 to 1994 Mr. Chin Aleong edited and published W.I. Postal History Review / W.I. Stamps and Postal History Review.
Mr. Chin Aleong published over forty articles (some jointly) in the Trinidad Philatelic Society Bulletin, the Br. Caribbean Philatelic Journal, the B.W.I. Bulletin, Gibbons Stamp Monthly and our own Review.
J. Chin Aleong has also written and published two books on postcards - The PECO Picture Postcards of the West Indies and The Picture Postcards of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and two books with E. Proud on Postal History - The Postal History of Trinidad and Tobago and The Postal History of St. Lucia and St. Vincent.
